Stage 3-1 is one of the original video game music cover bands to emerge in the last 5 years, finding early success on the reknown Newgrounds website.
Unique in that that they solely cover music from the original NES console, they differ also from their video game cover band counterparts by incorporating original songs, as inspired by these very NES games.
Joining original members Weston Sagle and Kevin Beswick was Steven Sagle, a video game enthusiast and NES connoisseur. To achieve the full NES metal sound, Brian Mikkila and Julian Ursano were incorporated to round out the live band.
